Five Ways to Wear: White Pants in Winter

When I was little all I ever heard was you can’t wear white after Labor Day. Has anyone else been there? Well, I’m here to tell you that when it comes to fashion, you can break the mold and wear white pants in the winter! This new blog post is inspired by my Aunt Vona who wore a fabulous outfit: white pants styled with a light blue sweater, a statement necklace, and sneakers. (Yes, Aunt Vona, you’re getting credit!) So, I am here to share five different white pants outfits you can wear in the winter.

1. White Pants and a Red Sweater

We know that red is a Christmas color and is also very popular around Valentine’s Day in February. Well, when you wear your red tops, that is the perfect time to pull out your white pants! Dress up your outfits with ballet flats or heels or you could go more casual with sneakers.

I love the contrast of colors when you wear red with white. It will definitely make the red pop!

2. Wear those White Pants with Denim

I paired my pants with a denim top tucked in and I absolutely loved the look! It is classy and chic! The denim looks dressed up but casual at the same time. You could pair your white pants and denim top with heels, flats, or sneakers!

Pick out a cute necklace and some statement earrings to top off your outfit!

3. Dress them down with a Sherpa

You can always dress down your white pants. They don’t have to be dressed up all the time. When it is cold outside, find a nice warm sherpa to wear with them! I loved the look of this buffalo plaid sherpa with the white pants. Pair it with simple diamond or pearl earrings. Try some sneakers or tennis shoes and you are set!

4. Get Comfy with a Sweatshirt and Puffer Vest

Pairing your white with a sherpa is one way to dress down your pants but you can definitely get even more comfy! I love the look of sweatshirts with a puffer vest. So I thought, why not pair them with a sweatshirt, puffer vest, and some sneakers or tennis shoes? Guess what? It works!

5. White Pants and a Shacket

Shackets come in so many colors and lengths. That is why they are a great option for pairing with your white pants in the winter. They are warm, and soft and are a great option for semi-casual. You have jewelry options and shoe options when you style a shacket!

Wear White in Winter

It is time to drop the stigma of wearing white before Easter! Think about it, snow is white, and many winter decorations are white, silver, and blue. White pants are classy and chic. They can be dressed up and dressed down. One bit of advice, keep a Tide pen or Shout wipes handy in a bind because accidents happen. Don’t put those pants in the back of the closet and only bring them out in springtime. Keep them in the front all year round and find those ways to style them in the winter!
